Cast on 110 stitches

Double e-wrap

KP1: Knit 4 rows and convert to 2 X 1 ribbing

Row 5: eyelet row: at the top of each 1 rib in the 2 X 1 make an eyelet. This is where the drawstring will be threaded through the waistband.

Knit 9 rows and convert them to 1 X1 ribbing

Knit 35 rows

**This will be a large rectangle shaped piece of fabric.






Remove half of the needles (55 stitches to the left or right of the 0) on waste yarn. Adjust the weights as needed.

Reduce 2 stitches on each end of EOR (every other row) 5 times.

Reduce 1 stitch on each end of EOR 6 times.

Knit 3 rows

  

Remove remaining stitches on waste yarn.

Re-hang the 55 stitches on the needles.

Reduce 2 stitches on each end of EOR (every other row) 5 times.

Reduce 1 stitch on each end of EOR 6 times.

Knit 3 rows

Remove remaining stitches on waste yarn.

Kitchener the center crotch and seam the edge.

Leg ribbing: Size 2 DPNs. Pick up stitches around the leg opening and knit 1 X 1 ribbing for 3 to 5 rows.

Crochet or knit i-cord for drawstring.
